1. Introduction

PrimeAssist is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. It applies to all users of primeassistcare.com and associated applications. By using the Platform you acknowledge you have read this policy.

2. Data We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Registration data: full name, email address, password (hashed), country, phone number.
  • Identity verification: government-issued ID documents, selfie photos (Assistants only).
  • Profile information: biography, skills, tier level, availability.
  • Task data: descriptions, spending limits, instructions, completion notes.
  • Financial data: payment method details processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Communications: messages exchanged between Clients and Assistants on the Platform.
  • Uploaded files: receipts, invoices, photos submitted in connection with Tasks.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser information (IP address, browser type, operating system).
  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps).
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 9).

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Match Clients with suitable Assistants.
  • Facilitate, document, and complete Tasks.
  • Process payments and release Service Fees.
  • Verify the identity and background of Assistants.
  • Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
  • Send service-related communications.
  • Send marketing communications where you have opted in.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and Terms violations.
  • Comply with legal obligations.
  • Improve the Platform through anonymised analytics.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK)

  • Contract performance: data necessary to provide our services.
  • Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, platform improvement, security.
  • Legal obligation: compliance with applicable laws.
  • Consent: marketing communications and non-essential cookies.

5. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as follows:

With Other Platform Users

Clients receive the first name, tier level, and profile summary of their assigned Assistant. Full identity documents are never shared with Clients.

With Service Providers

We share data with vendors including payment processors, background check providers, cloud hosting, and email services. All are bound by data processing agreements.

Legal Compliance

We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of PrimeAssist or others.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger or acquisition, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to this policy.

6. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States. For EEA/UK users, we ensure adequate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) are in place for any such transfers.

7. Data Retention

  • Active account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure.
  • Task Logs and financial records are retained for 7 years for legal compliance.
  • Background check data is deleted within 90 days of account closure.

8. Your Rights

  • Access: request a copy of your personal data.
  • Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data (subject to retention requirements).
  • Restriction: request we limit processing of your data.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent: at any time for consent-based processing.

9. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember preferences, and analyse usage. See our Cookie Policy for full details. You can manage cookie preferences via your browser settings.

10. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, hashed password storage, access controls, and regular security reviews. No internet transmission is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential.

11. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided us with data.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
